Since early 2021 I've been writing microfiction and flash fiction on twitter as @MaybeElse, at first for a vanishingly small audience and then (as the thing that's now called Empty Spaces/Dolltwitter germinated and grew) a slightly larger one. If you're not already familiar, it's trauma-informed queer fiction with a healthy dose of obscure symbology.

This is my attempt to gather up some of the best things I've written on themes which I keep on returning to again and again. Taken all together it's a bit shy of 14k words across 23 stories; 11 joyous and 12 decaying.
